Heather Laird Jackson
Heather Laird Jackson is involved in community outreach, including global outreach such as serving on the first steering committee of the 1st World Congress on Muslim Philanthropy in Istanbul, Turkey. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Political Science and Arabic, a Master’s in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management, and is currently in a special five year program receiving a Clinical Psychology degree with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (candidate August 2015) as she continues to finish her Doctoral program. She received a Global Scholars Award in 2015 and was named an AAMFT Doctoral Fellow candidate for the Minority Fellowship program 2015-2016. She has also started a show called Muslims and Mental Health.
